What is delayed maternity?

How is oocyte cryopreservation performed?

- Transvaginal puncture for oocyte collection. The procedure is carried out in a day hospital, under intravenous anesthesia and ultrasound control. Through vaginal access, a thin needle punctures the follicles and aspiration of follicular fluid into test tubes. The follicular fluid is sent to an embryologist to identify the oocyte in the follicular fluid. The duration of the procedure is 5-10 minutes, and after 2-3 hours the woman is discharged from the day hospital home.
