Facelift, SMAS-lift
Composite facelift can effectively eliminate the signs of age-related changes in the face and neck. The modern approach to facelift is not so much skin tightening, but moving the deep layers of the musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS), allowing you to get clear contours of the face and neck, get rid of wrinkles, remove sagging skin and “throw off” 10-15 years!
Surgical lifting methods
- SMAS-lifting - lifting of the skin of the face and neck, used to remove sagging skin, improve the oval of the face and smooth out age-related wrinkles and folds;
- Endoscopic facelift is a procedure carried out with the help of a special device through small punctures. This method is well suited for middle-aged skin that has not lost its original elasticity;
- laser facelift - suitable for removing signs of aging, it does not use surgery. Can be performed under anesthesia;
- Thread facelift - this method uses special, self-absorbable surgical threads that are inserted through micro-punctures. This method assumes a fast recovery period.
Key points of the operation
- This operation is performed under general anesthesia (endotracheal anesthesia).
- The average duration of the operation is about 3.5-4 hours.
