Contraindications for facelift

The facelift procedure is not performed for patients with:

Rehabilitation period

Features of a facelift operation

Before the procedure, as prescribed by the doctor, all necessary examinations are carried out to help avoid complications. The lift itself takes place under endotracheal anesthesia and lasts up to 4 hours, after which the patient is sent to the hospital for up to 48 hours.

After a facelift, discomfort, swelling and bruising may remain, which will disappear in a few weeks. To reduce discomfort in the patient, the doctor may prescribe medications or prescribe a course of physiotherapy.

If the facelift surgery involved suturing, they will be removed after 1-2 weeks, depending on the type of intervention and the speed of recovery of the patient.
