How to sign up for an operation under the compulsory medical insurance policy?

What is required for hospitalization under compulsory medical insurance:

A patient or a doctor from another city contacts the K+31 medical center. The clinic's specialists analyze the study received electronically, requesting additional information if necessary, and make a decision on whether to perform the surgery within a few working days.
If the clinic can perform the surgery within the framework of the compulsory medical insurance, the patient is sent a list of documents and examinations required for hospitalization. The patient must receive a referral required for hospitalization at the clinic in his region at a state polyclinic.
Then the date of the surgery is determined, by which all the requested documents must be prepared, after which the patient arrives for the surgery on the appointed day.

Important! You cannot come to K+31 for an appointment under the compulsory medical insurance policy, as in a state polyclinic - you can only agree to conduct an operation under the compulsory medical insurance policy, subject to the following conditions:

The patient has a regional policy (that is, any region, except for the exception regions: Moscow, Moscow region, Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Kherson region, Zaporizhia region)
There is a referral from the region to which the policy is linked
There is a list of required preoperative examinations

I remember Rafael Rifatovich with tears of gratitude. I had two knee surgeries with him: once for an ACL tear in 2020, and the second time after a whole bunch of injuries in 2023. He performed both surgeries perfectly. He knows exactly what to do. He's very attentive to the patient during the postoperative period, although at first he seems a bit dry and harsh (this is not the case). He explained all the details of the surgeries and injuries in detail. The best doctor!

Lev Olegovich is a true professional in his field! Confident, knowledgeable, and responsive. He doesn't coddle patients, which is normal, as we have so many of them. He nonetheless answers all questions and strives to explain the patient's condition, problem, and treatment options, and he won't perform surgery unnecessarily. If it's not needed, he'll tell you what needs to be done immediately. He's very approachable in the operating room: he'll reassure you, make jokes, and even offer a compliment. At my request, he took a video and photos of the surgery; we reviewed it together and explained everything. We had excellent communication with him during the preparation and afterward. The team is full of excellent young people, all the operating doctors, and they work together. I searched for a doctor from the ground up. I read, looked at photos, and watched videos. Lev Olegovich has excellent publications available. They cover the types of injuries, the causes of complications caused by prolonged absences from the traumatologist, rehabilitation exercises (it's important to strengthen muscles before surgery), and, of course, he writes about himself. I went to the appointment with 90% certainty that I would be undergoing surgery with Kneller. After the appointment, I was 100% "on the clock." Don't be lazy and watch Lev Olegovich's video—it will make choosing a doctor easier, ease your fear, and speed up your recovery. I had a long-standing injury. It made sports and brisk walking difficult. I had the procedure done under light anesthesia, as I was leaving home on crutches that same evening. If the anesthesia is for the lower extremities, it's kept on for at least 24 hours. It's best to practice using crutches a week beforehand, walking around (that's what happened to me; my arms were really sore). It's best not to jump around with just one crutch once the pain eases, as you can pinch your lower back from the misalignment. It hurts, of course, at first, but it quickly goes away after a week. Rest is important to avoid causing any harm. Find at least a couple of weeks off, and start exercising right away. That way, you won't ruin the traumatologist's work. Lev Olegovich Kneller, I sincerely thank you and your team for restoring my right knee (November 14, 2025, meniscus, partial Hoffa body, septum) and for relieving me of pain.
