In 2013, Sergey Igramovich Abramov, head of the K + 31 ophthalmology department, was invited as an expert to the world-wide symposium WaweLight Meeting in Singapore on issues of refractive femtolaser and excimer laser vision correction. New treatment strategies have been developed for patients with astigmatism, myopia, and hyperopia. The main topic of discussion was personalized ablation for irregular cornea. Individual approaches, setting up diagnostic and laser equipment.
