MRI under anesthesia

Magnetic resonance imaging under anesthesia is used in the following situations:

  • Fear of closed spaces (claustrophobia), tendency to panic attacks.
  • Pain that makes the patient unable to remain still.
  • Hyperkinesias, neurological disorders that provoke involuntary muscle movements.
  • Mental disorders, due to which the patient is not able to adequately behave.

The use of anesthesia makes it possible to solve these problems and achieve high results of the study.

Deep sedation and superficial anesthesia are available.

Diagnosis is carried out under the strict supervision of an anesthesiologist during the entire period of the procedure.
