- Ischaemic heart disease: diagnosis and treatment of stable forms, risk stratification, and secondary prevention after myocardial infarction and revascularisation.
- Dyslipidaemia: cardiovascular risk assessment and pharmacological management to achieve target lipid levels.
- Arterial hypertension: exclusion of secondary forms, assessment of target-organ damage, and selection of combination antihypertensive therapy.
- Chronic heart failure: diagnosis, initiation and titration of contemporary quadruple therapy, and volume-status monitoring.
- Rhythm and conduction disorders: differential diagnosis of arrhythmias, selection of antiarrhythmic and anticoagulant therapy, and referral for interventional treatment.
- Acquired heart valve disease: follow-up, medical management, and assessment of indications for surgical correction.
- Perioperative care: preoperative risk assessment and preparation for cardiac surgery; postoperative management, including lifelong antithrombotic therapy and rehabilitation.
- Cardiovascular nutrition (MSc, Spain): individualised nutritional strategies to reduce cardiovascular risk, manage weight, and address components of metabolic syndrome using clinical-nutrition approaches.
