What is CBCT?
This is an X-ray method for examining teeth, volumetric computed tomography, which is performed on a special device - a tomograph, in front of which a person stands or sits. A movable platform moves around the patient’s head, and a special tube emits a cone-shaped beam, which allows for more than 600 projections of the area under study. At the same time, the radiation exposure in our center is very low and safe for the body. The information is processed and converted into a three-dimensional digital image. This method reproduces a three-dimensional reconstruction of the maxillofacial region, much more accurate than two-dimensional methods (which provide only 20% confidence).
